October 2010 Meeting Notice

Dear MN Valley NOW Members:

The October MN Valley NOW meeting will be held at Prior Lake City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on October 28th.

OFFICER ELECTIONS!
All offices are up for election at the October meeting. Please consider volunteering for one or more offices. Co-Presidents (2), Secretary, Treasurer, State Board Delegates (2), State Board Alternates (2).

OCTOBER PROGRAM!
We hope that the MN CAFE Coalition House Party kits will be available for the October Program. If they are not available, we will view their Fringe production of “How to Fight Like a Girl.” Someone will need to find out if our room at City Hall has a DVD player and television for viewing.

Volunteer at the Women & Spirituality Conference

SPIRITUALITY CONFERENCE!
Minnesota State University of Mankato’s Gender and Women’s Studies Department’s annual Women and Spirituality Conference will be held in Mankato on October 23rd and 24th. For a program and additional information, go to http://sbs.mnsu.edu/women/conference/. MN Valley NOW has reserved a booth at the conference and is looking for people to staff the booth. Tentative shifts are as follows:

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (set-up table)
Saturday: 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Saturday: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Saturday: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. (tear down table)
